Dear Student,
This has reference to your application for registration to the Information Technology Training course of 100 Hours. Your IT Training shall commence as follows, considering your preferences for ITT Centres and Timings and availability of seats at the ITT Centre :-

You are required to report for training at the aforesaid centre 30 minutes prior to scheduled starting of the session. While every effort has been made to allot IT Training batches of the choice exercised by the student, there may be difference in the timings actually allotted due to administrative exigencies.
In case you fail to attend the class on the very first day, the seat may be allotted to some other student in waiting and your name may not be considered for immediate next batch due to limited seat avialability.
You are required to study the "Guidelines for ITT Course Students available overleaf" for strict compliance in letter and spirit, to avoid delays in securing ITT Course completion certificate.
You are required to bring (a) this letter (b) Color Passport Size Photograph and (c) Identity Card issued by the Institute or other photo identity issued by Government agency (Voter ID Card, Driving License, Passport) when you report for training and in your visits to the IT Training Centre for classes and Module / Online Test.

Guidelines for ITT Course Students
1. Training Sessions & Durations: The ITT Course of 100 Hours is generally organized in training sessions of four hours daily for twenty five working days excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Gazetted holidays, if any.


2. Dress Code: The ITT Students are the Brand Ambassadors of ICAI in their visits to Corporate/ Enterprises in Audit Assignments, as a part of their Articleship training. It is essential that students adhere to a dress code, as a practice, to enhance their own image/prestige and that of the profession. They are hence required to confirm to the following dress code requirements, when they come to the ITT Centre :-
 
Gentlemen Business suit/ Blazer, Formal Full Sleeves Shirts,
Formal Trousers, Formal shoes & Tie
Ladies Business suit / Ladies suit / Saree
 

3. Jeans, T-Shirts, Cargoes, Slacks, Short Kurta / Top, Sports Shoes / Floaters / Slippers and Skirts are strictly NOT allowed. A Student not coming in Dress Code would be allotted 1/2 Day Attendance.

4. Attendance Requirements: Minimum Requirement to successfully complete the ITT Course is 90%. That is, a student can remain absent for maximum 10 Hours. Students coming late to class by 10 minutes from the scheduled start time of the class would be given half-day attendance.

5. Module Tests: ITT Students have to qualify two Module Tests with minimum 50% marks in each, before being permitted to take the Online Test.

6. Project Requirements: Student are required to submit a Project Report by the time specified, to ensure that they successfully complete the course requirements and get their ITT Certificate. The Project Report has a weightage of 20% in the overall assessment.

7. Online Test Requirements: The ITT Students would be allowed to take the online Test after completion of following requirements (a) Attendance Requirements, (b) Qualifying 2 Module Tests with 50% marks in each and (c) Project submission. Students have to secure at least 60% in aggregate (taking into account marks in Module Tests, Project and Online Test) for successfully completing the training.

8. ITT Certificate: Students are issued ITT Certificated from their respective registered Branch Office. ITT Certificate would be issued to the students normally within one month of ITT Test, provided the student qualifies the same.

9. Important Do's and Don'ts:
Students have to apply for leave in writing to avail any leave during the training.

Students are strictly prohibited from loading personal software's/games etc. or using USB Drives/ CD ROMs to avoid virus/ worm outbreak in th ITT Centre.

Eating food/beverages are not allowed inside the computer lab premises.

Students are strictly advised not to set passwords to files / folder in the PC.

All assets of the Institute must be used with utmost care.

Students are advised to maintain proper discipline to avoid disciplinary action.

10. No request for change in timings, centre & month will be entertained considering limited seat availablity.
